Musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, recommended for ages 6 and up, as holiday fun for the whole family at the Arvada Center.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat returns to the Arvada Center on November 20, 2026, and runs through January 3, 2027. It's playing on the Main Stage Theatre, and it's part of the venue's 50th-anniversary celebration.
If you've seen it before, you know the basics: music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It's built on upbeat, rock-concert-style songs that jump from country western to bubblegum pop, with energetic choreography and the titular colorful coat. It's a family-friendly show, recommended for ages 6 and up, and this production will feature guest children's choirs from around the Denver Metro Area.
There are plenty of ways to fit it into your schedule. Matinees run Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 1 PM. Evening shows are Wednesday through Saturday at 7 PM, with select Tuesday evenings and select Friday matinees added in.
