A citywide celebration of arts and culture with art walks, museum visits, performances and creative neighbourhood events across Denver.
Denver Arts Week runs from Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 15, 2026, turning the Mile High City into a citywide celebration of its arts and culture scene. It's a ten-day stretch with hundreds of events across visual arts, dance, comedy, film, theatre, and museums, so you can pick and choose what fits your schedule rather than trying to do it all.
Things kick off with expanded First Friday Art Walks, when creative neighborhoods come alive with local artists and original artwork on sale. From there, it moves into Night at the Museums, when more than a dozen of the city's best museums open their doors free of charge and stay open late. Beyond those two main pillars, the week lifts smaller arts and cultural organizations and connects you with neighborhood arts, from the murals of the RiNo arts district to the city's performing-arts centers. It's presented by Denver Arts & Venues with support from CBS Colorado, Colorado Public Radio, Downtown Denver Partnership, Westword, 5280, and the SCFD.
Because the events are spread across the city, the experience changes depending on where you spend your time. You can stick to the museum circuit, wander through the RiNo murals, or catch a show at one of the performing-arts centers. Since it covers so many different disciplines—visual arts, dance, comedy, film, theatre—you can mix things up throughout the ten days.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Denver and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Prices vary depending on the event, with tickets available online and plenty of free opportunities. The museum night is one of the free ones, and the First Friday walks are open to anyone who wants to stroll through. If you're planning to hit several paid events, it's worth checking the full schedule early to map out your route across the city.
