Bad Suns perform their 'Disappear Here: A Ten Year Celebration' tour, featuring tracks from their album 'Accelerator' and earlier work.
Bad Suns play Summit Music Hall on Tuesday, February 2, 2027. The show is billed as Disappear Here: A Ten Year Celebration, a nod to their second album, which came out in 2016.
Bad Suns are a Los Angeles indie-rock trio formed in 2012 by Christo Bowman on vocals and guitar, Gavin Bennett on bass, and Miles Morris on drums. They went viral almost immediately with a sound that blended indie rock and '80s synth sheen. After four albums, they shifted gears with the 2023 EP Infinite Joy, which led to their fifth album, Accelerator (2023), a 12-track dance-pop record. Both were produced by Eric Palmquist, who also helmed their 2014 debut Language & Perspective and the follow-ups Disappear Here (2016) and Apocalypse Whenever (2022).
Accelerator opens with "Slow Karma," which finds Bowman sobering up at a personal and professional crossroads: he turned 30, got married, and found out he was having a child while making the record. The Denver date, Disappear Here: A Ten Year Celebration, marks a decade since that second album.
