Concert by Matteo Bocelli, son of Andrea Bocelli, blending classical heritage with contemporary romance.
Matteo Bocelli plays the Winspear Opera House on Monday, December 14, at 7:30 PM. He's the son of Andrea Bocelli, and he's built his own name around a mix of classical roots and contemporary pop, singing in both English and Italian.
He first caught on internationally in 2018 with "Fall On Me," a duet with his father that went into Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms and has since passed 400 million streams. He followed that with his self-titled debut album, Matteo, in 2023, and has played the 96th Academy Awards, the Sydney Opera House, and Madison Square Garden. Earlier this year, he was crowned King of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
Much of the set will likely draw from his second album, Falling in Love, which came out in September 2025 on Decca Records. He recorded it at home in Tuscany with producer Martin Terefe and co-wrote the songs with Amy Wadge, Toby Gad, Iain Archer, and Johan Carlsson. The album closes with his version of Lucio Dalla's "Caruso," and he's collaborated with artists like Ed Sheeran along the way.
