Sylvan Esso

Sylvan Esso play the House of Blues Dallas on Tuesday, March 9, 2027. The pop duo consists of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, who met in a Wisconsin deli back in 2012. Meath writes and sings their emotionally multivalent songs, and Sanborn crafts the beats and instrumentals. Over time their roles have become so intertwined that every new song feels both rigorously conceptual and rapturous.

Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, they identify as a pop band that aims to make songs that aren't on the radio. Their third album, Free Love, is framed by the duo as a testament to their long-term tension. The show is all ages, with scheduled support still to be announced.

There's a charitable side to the night, too: the duo partners with PLUS1, donating $1 per ticket to organizations working for equity, access and dignity. Doors open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. Day-of tickets will be sold at the venue's box office after 5 PM.
