Touchdown Club annual fundraiser before the TX/OU game, headlined by Counting Crows featuring Clay Street Unit.
Counting Crows are playing in Dallas on Thursday, October 8, as the headliner for this year's Rise Round Up. It's the Touchdown Club's premier annual Dallas fundraiser, and the timing is a bit of a local tradition: it's staged ahead of the Texas-Oklahoma game, and it's known for drawing top artists to the bill. This year, the band is featuring the Clay Street Unit.
If you've followed the event before, you know the drill. The Touchdown Club puts this on every year leading up to the TX/OU game, and the money goes to The Ashford Rise School. To date, the fundraiser has raised more than $7 million for the school, so it's a night where the music is the draw but the fundraising is the point. Counting Crows takes the top spot on the bill this time around, and they'll be joined by the Clay Street Unit.

It's a Thursday night show, so it falls right in the middle of the week and a few days before the game itself. If you're around Dallas and want to catch them, the date is October 8.
