Oakwood

Oakwood play AM/FM Backyard on Friday, December 11, as part of their 2026 tour. They're an emo band from Austin, Texas, and they've been at it since 2013. Their sound sits at the intersection of skramz, emo, and midwest emo — the kind of thing that pulls from the raw, shouting side of the scene as much as the melodic, twinkly guitar work associated with the midwest sound. They aren't playing alone. Direct support comes from April's Love Affair, and the bill rounds out with special guests A Brief Memoir and A Kick Ass Life.
