Singer-songwriter Jennifer Knapp performs live at AM/FM Dallas, an LGBTQ-friendly event restricted to over-18s.
Jennifer Knapp plays AM/FM on Friday, October 16, with Flamy Grant opening. It's billed as an LGBTQ event and is restricted to over-18s.
Knapp is a singer-songwriter, author, and speaker from Nashville, Tennessee, who has sold over a million albums, won four Dove Awards, and earned two Grammy nominations. Her career started in the Christian music industry in 1994, but she stepped away in 2003. She returned to recording in 2010 with Letting Go, followed by Set Me Free in 2014. In 2017, she released Love Comes Back Around, produced by Viktor Krauss. Between the records, she published a memoir, Facing the Music: My Story, through Simon & Schuster.
Beyond the music, Knapp has spent years as an LGBTQ advocate. She completed a master's in Theological Studies at Vanderbilt Divinity School and works for LGBTQ people of faith through her non-profit, Inside Out Faith. That advocacy is a central part of who she is now, and it's why this particular night is framed as an LGBTQ event.
