Live acoustic music with local solo pianists, guitarists, and violinists at Jeanne's Pavilion in the Dallas Arboretum.
Jeanne's Pavilion hosts acoustic performances by local soloists every weekend, and this Saturday, October 10, is no exception. The music runs from 12 PM to 2 PM inside the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, and the repertoire spans from today's hits to old favorites. It's an acoustic bill, so the sound stays stripped back and fits the garden setting.
The lineup leans on solo piano, violin, guitar and cello. On the piano side, you'll hear Sydney Barber, Brenno Lima, Music Starz Studios, and Adri Rojas, who adds vocals to the mix. The violin takes a good chunk of the bill with Karen Lim-Smith, Mauricio Campos, Arsenio Pena, and Sophie Thiessen. Rachael Levine rounds it out on cello, and Andy Sperandeo brings guitar and vocals. One of the performers also leads the Plus One Jazz Group, a band that blends jazz, funk, soul and jazzy pop.
The whole thing is designed for you to settle in with a picnic and listen while you're already spending the day at the Arboretum. It's not a formal concert hall vibe—just local musicians playing through the afternoon. If you're planning to be in the gardens anyway, it's an easy way to add some live music to the trip.
