Concert by Fort Worth band Cut Throat Finches, blending alt-country and Texas storytelling, as part of the Patio Sessions series.
Cut Throat Finches play the AT&T Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 8, opening for Counting Crows. It's part of the Patio Sessions, the center's autumn outdoor concert series that brings DFW artists into the heart of the Dallas Arts District. The music is outdoors, and the night includes food from Flora Cantina, drinks, and lawn games alongside the set.
Cut Throat Finches are a Fort Worth indie rock outfit whose sound has drifted toward alt-country, trading in twang-tinged guitars and open-road rhythms. Their fifth studio release, High Horse, deepens that Texas-rooted identity, blending state-bred storytelling with the grit and energy that first put them on the map. The band is a duo: Sean Russell on vocals and guitar, and Draya Ruse on drums.
