Live music under the stars at the Dallas Arboretum featuring the Elton John tribute act Greggie and the Jets.
Greggie and the Jets play the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden on Thursday, October 15, as part of the Cool Thursdays Concert Series. They're an Elton John tribute act, and this particular night is one of the series' premium concerts.
Cool Thursdays is an annual nightlife event that's been running for 29 years, pairing live music with sunset views over White Rock Lake and an evening in the gardens. The concerts take place on the Martin Rutchik Concert Lawn, and the general admission seating there works on a first-come, first-served basis. Between the music, you can explore the grounds and hang out on the lawn with friends. The Arboretum is also a certified sensory-inclusive venue through its partnership with KultureCity, so there's a social story and sensory bags available at Information Booths for guests with sensory sensitivities.
Greggie and the Jets are just one stop in a five-date fall run. The series opened on October 8 with Life in Technicolor, a Coldplay tribute. After the Elton John night on the 15th, RED brings a Taylor Swift tribute on October 22, also a premium show. Bee Gees Gold does the Bee Gees on October 29, and the run closes November 5 with Emerald City, a party band. If you're planning to catch more than one, there's a fall season subscription for $169 for members and $269 for guests.
