A night of live music at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, part of the annual Cool Thursdays Concert Series, with food trucks and a sensory-inclusive environment.
Cool Thursdays returns to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden on Thursday, October 15, from 7 PM to 9 PM, with gates opening at 6 PM. The series has been a nighttime fixture at the Arboretum for 29 years, and this edition continues that run.
The music happens on the Martin Rutchik Concert Lawn, which looks out over White Rock Lake, so the set plays as the sun sets across the water. The bills usually mix national tribute acts with some of the area's best performers, and the venue is a certified sensory-inclusive space through its partnership with KultureCity. You can bring your own picnic and beverages or buy from a selection of Dallas-Fort Worth food trucks, and you're welcome to bring your own alcohol for a $5 corkage fee per concert per reservation.

All tickets are general admission, and the lawn works on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want a particular spot, getting there closer to when the gates open at 6 PM is your best bet. Keep in mind that weather can change the schedule. Tickets are $40 for members, $45 for guests, and $30 for children ages 2 to 12, with premium concerts running $50 per guest.
