A family-friendly Halloween night in the garden with educational activities, crafts, games and treats; costumes required.
BOO-tanical Trick or Treat is back at the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden on Friday, October 23 and Friday, October 30, from 5:30 to 8 PM. It's a family-friendly Halloween night inside one of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden's most popular spots, and it runs rain or shine, so you don't have to worry about the weather.
The evening mixes educational activities, crafts, games and sweet treats spread throughout the garden. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes go to some of the best ones, but there are a couple of rules to keep in mind: costume masks and prop weapons aren't permitted in the garden. The organizers also advise that the event isn't recommended for people with sensory processing disorders.

It sits alongside the Arboretum's wider Autumn at the Arboretum fall celebration, at a time when the site is one of the city's most recognizable autumn destinations. The garden is located at 8525 Garland Road in Dallas, and the event is a member-exclusive ticketed affair, so you'll need a membership to get in. Both dates run from 5:30 to 8 PM.
