Witches' Brew Weekend

Prototype: The Experimental Museum is doing a Halloween weekend special called Witches' Brew Weekend on Saturday, October 31, from 1:00 to 8:30 PM, with the last entry at 7:00 PM. It's a timed, ticketed experience, so you'll want to book your slot in advance rather than just showing up. Costumes are encouraged, and the whole thing is adults-only.

If you haven't been, Prototype is a permanent immersive museum in Columbus where art, media and technology collide as a playground for experimentation, storytelling and human connection. It sits inside Scioto Audubon Metro Park, and the venue also runs rotating experiments and bar programs, like their weekly Limelight Karaoke series. The museum is adults-only, and this particular weekend is built around the Witches Brew—a drink served smoking from a cauldron. It's for over-21s only, though there's an alcohol-free version available if you're not drinking.

Admission is $45 for a single ticket, which includes museum entry and one Witches Brew. If you're bringing a friend, there's a Double Trouble option for $85, which covers two tickets and two Witches Brews. The museum is open from 1:00 to 8:30 PM, but keep in mind that the last entry is at 7:00 PM, so don't leave it too late in the day. Since it's a timed experience, reservations are recommended.
