A free, family-friendly winter community festival with local music, food trucks, seasonal craft beer, and festive activities like a mechanical reindeer and snowglobe.
WinterFest Columbus returns to Dorrian Green on Saturday, November 21, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's presented by Columbus Recreation and Parks as downtown's winter community festival, a relaxed gathering along the Scioto Mile that kicks off the winter season. The whole thing is free and open to everyone, so you can just show up and hang out without worrying about tickets or a cover.
The day brings together local music, food trucks and seasonal craft beer and cocktails in a community-focused atmosphere. It's the kind of afternoon that works whether you're coming with a group of friends or bringing the whole family along. There are activities for all ages to keep you occupied: a mechanical reindeer, a giant snowglobe and cornhole. Between the music and the food, you can spend as much or as little time as you like.
Because it's held at Dorrian Green, right on the Scioto Mile, you're in the heart of downtown. If you don't want to deal with parking, the site is accessible by the free Holiday Trolley Hop, which runs through the downtown area during the season. It's a good way to get there and back without having to circle for a spot.
