Power Hour show by Vamp Village, a group of musicians that transform any song into a great vibe for the crowd.
Vamp Village play the Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge on Friday, October 16, for a stripped-back set that kicks off the evening. They're a Columbus-based group of musicians, and the booking is billed as a 'Power Hour' show — an hour of music to start the night rather than a full-length concert.
If you haven't run into them before, here's the gist: they're known for taking almost any song and turning it into a vibe the crowd can hear and feel. That's a broad way of putting it, but it's how they describe their own approach. The 'Power Hour' format keeps things lean, so it's an hour of music rather than a long night. If you're looking for something to get your Friday moving without committing your whole evening, this is a good place to start.
