The Brook & The Bluff and The Sways live performance, Werewolf Tour, all ages.
The Brook & The Bluff play A&R Music Bar on Sunday, October 25, as part of their Werewolf tour. They're bringing along The Sways to open the night, and the show is all ages.
The Birmingham, Alabama band is touring behind Werewolf, a record they describe as a return to their rock & roll roots. It's a high-voltage, live-inspired album that leans into four-part harmony and channels the swamp rock spirit of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tom Petty and The Eagles. Frontman Joseph Settine said the goal was to treat the record like a live set, and that's exactly how it's playing out on the road.
It's a bit of a homecoming for the group. After nearly a decade of touring and fan favorites like "Halfway Up" and "Everything Is Just a Mess," the band regrouped in Nashville, meeting every morning to write and rehearse just as they did in their early days. That's the version of the band you'll see on stage: Joseph Settine on lead vocals, keys and guitar; Alec Bolton on lead guitar; Fred Lankford on bass; and John Canada on drums.
