Outdoor drive-in movie screening on the twin screens of the historic South Drive-In, with the South Drive-In Flea Market on the grounds.
South Drive-In Theatre is back in business at 3050 S High St, the only drive-in left in Columbus. It's a twin screen that's been running since 1950, and it's built a following on its concession stand, which is rated highly and priced reasonably. The theater reopened in April, and the season runs through November.
The movie side of things is the 'When Weekly' outdoor series, which runs Friday and Saturday nights from 7 PM to 11:30 PM. The series started April 3 and goes until October 31, so you've still got a few weeks left to catch a show before the screen goes dark for the year. The gate opens at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday nights and 7:30 PM on other nights.
There's a second side to the site, too. The South Drive-In Flea Market is billed as the largest outdoor yard and garage sale in Columbus since the 1970s, and it fills the grounds every Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday with around 200 sales. The market runs from April 4 through November 8, with special markets on Memorial Day and Labor Day. If you're into digging through piles of old stuff, it's a good reason to swing by during the day before the movies start at night.

Tickets are $12.50 for adults 12 and up, $6.50 for kids ages 5 to 11, and free for children 4 and under. Between the movies and the market, there's plenty to do on the grounds throughout the season.
