International a cappella choral competition convention with five days of harmony, quartet and chorus competitions.
SingUnited International takes over the Greater Columbus Convention Center from October 26 to 31, 2026, for its international convention and competition. If you're not familiar with the name, SingUnited is a choral competition circuit that runs 24 regional competitions throughout the year. This convention is the finale: the stage where the qualifying winners from those regionals come together to compete against each other.
The whole week is built around an a cappella competition spread across five days, so you can drop in for a single afternoon or follow the whole thing from start to finish. It kicks off on Tuesday, October 27, with the Harmony Classic. Wednesday brings the quartet semifinals, and Thursday is the chorus semifinals. The finals come on Friday and Saturday, with the quartet finals on Friday and the chorus finals on Saturday, October 31. The distinction is simple: quartets are small groups of four, and choruses are the larger ensembles.
Because it's a competition, the lineup changes as the week goes on. The groups that make it through the semifinals on Wednesday and Thursday are the ones who move on to the finals on Friday and Saturday. If you've got a favorite group competing, the semifinals are where they have to prove themselves to make the cut.
