Out of Hand Entertainment

Out of Hand Entertainment is coming to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens on Sunday, December 27, for a one-man variety show that pulls from a few different traditions at once. It's a single performer on stage, and the act blends juggling, stunts, acrobatics and comedy into one set. The performer is billed as an international gold medalist juggler, and the show is built to work across generations, with material that's meant to hold the attention of all ages.

Because it's a variety show, you're getting a few different things in one go. The juggling is the core, but the stunts and acrobatics bring in a physical, high-energy side, and the comedy keeps it light. It's the kind of act that works just as well for a family outing as it does for anyone who just enjoys seeing someone do things with their hands that most of us can't even imagine. The Conservatory presents it as a family fun event, so it's a good bet if you're looking for something to do with kids or grandparents in the mix.

The show runs in the Garden Pavilion, and there are two times to choose from: 11 AM and 2 PM. Admission is included in general admission to the Conservatory, so there are no additional reservations required—you just need your ticket to get in. If you're already planning a day at the gardens, it's an easy thing to work in.
