All-ages live music show by MJT with Shapes at Woodlands Tavern in Columbus.
MJT plays Woodlands Tavern on Thursday, October 22, with Shapes opening. The show starts at 7 PM, and it's an all-ages bill, so you can bring whoever you want.
If you haven't spent much time there, Woodlands Tavern is in the Grandview Heights neighborhood, at 1200 West Third Avenue. It's been open since 2011 and runs two stages, which means there's usually something going on even when the main room is quiet. Beyond the music, they've got draft beer, cocktails, pub food, and a pool table, so it's the kind of place where you can hang out before and after the set rather than just showing up for the music and heading home right after.

Tickets start at $15.63. With the show starting at 7 PM on a Thursday night, it's an easy one to fit into the work week without having to clear your whole weekend. If you're already in the Grandview area, you're set; if not, it's a straightforward trip to the West Third Avenue spot.
