Matt Hansen brings his The Orchid Tour to A&R Music Bar, with his all-ages show open to fans of his TikTok music.
Matt Hansen brings The Orchid Tour to A&R Music Bar on Friday, November 20, with Conall Cafferty opening the night. It's a stop on his tour through the city, and the show starts at 8 PM.
Hansen is 24 and based in Los Angeles, and he built his following on TikTok, where he shares soulful reinterpretations of popular songs alongside his own original music. His first ten independently released singles have drawn over 400 million streams, and his biggest song to date, "LET EM GO," won audiences with its powerful vocals and a message of emotional healing. If you've come across him through those clips, you've heard the voice that carries the songs.
Fans who first discovered him opening for Alec Benjamin have praised his clear, production-quality vocals and an interactive, emotionally resonant stage presence. That's a good way to frame what he does: he's a singer who leans into the vocal performance, and he's known for engaging with the room rather than just playing to it. With Conall Cafferty on the bill, there's a second act to the evening before Hansen takes the stage.
