Kick It & Chill ™ Sneaker Edition

Kick It & Chill ™ Sneaker Edition is coming to the Short North on Saturday, October 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. It's a sneaker candle paint and sip date experience, and the whole thing is built around one specific project: painting your own custom sneaker candle.

When you show up, you get a LITSole sneaker candle and all the painting supplies you'll need to customize it. You're not just painting a flat surface, either—it's a candle shaped like a sneaker, so you're working on a 3D object. Along with the supplies, each guest gets a signature cocktail or mocktail to sip while they work. A live DJ will be on site throughout the session, so there's music running while you paint.

The setting is an industrial, brick-walled room at 11 Price Avenue, just a few steps from North High Street in the Short North. It's a good spot to settle in for a couple of hours, especially if you're bringing someone along—the organizers pitch it as a date experience, though it works just as well if you're coming with a friend or on your own.
