Holiday 5K run, 1-mile warrior walk and kids fun run with jingle bells, where all proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter.
The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis returns to Genoa Park on Saturday, December 5, from 8 AM to 12 PM. It's hosted by the Columbus Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, and the whole thing is built around the organization's mission to fight the nation's leading cause of disability. If you've never done it, the name isn't just for show: participants are encouraged to wear festive holiday gear and tie jingle bells to their laces, so the course ends up sounding like a small herd of bells moving through the park.
There are three ways to get involved. The main event is a 5K, and if you're not in the mood for a full race, there's a 1-mile Warrior Walk. For families, there's a kids fun run, so you can bring the little ones along. Every runner gets a swag bag with a t-shirt and jingle bells, and all proceeds go to the Arthritis Foundation's Central Ohio Chapter. If you can't make it downtown that morning, there's a virtual option too, so you can still participate from wherever you are.

The event takes place at Genoa Park, right by COSI at 303 W Broad St in downtown Columbus. It runs from 8 AM to 12 PM, so it's a morning thing that leaves the rest of your Saturday open. Registration for the 5K ranges from $40 to $55, the 1-mile Warrior Walk is $35 to $50, and the kids fun run is $25 to $40.
