Columbus Crew v. D.C. United: Fan Appreciation

Columbus Crew take on D.C. United at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field on Saturday, October 31, with kickoff at 2 PM. It's a Saturday afternoon match, so you'll be out of your seat and home well before dinner.

This one is a Fan Appreciation day, which is the club's way of saying thanks to the people who show up. If you've been following the season, you know the Crew have their home turf to lean on, and having the stands full of local support makes a difference when the game is tight. D.C. United are coming in from the East Coast to face them here in Columbus, and since it's a Fan Appreciation match, it's a good day to bring along anyone who hasn't made it to a game this year.

Tickets run from $38 to $100, depending on where you want to sit. The lower end gets you into the action, and the higher end puts you closer to the pitch. It's a 2 PM start, so you'll want to plan for a midday outing rather than an evening one. If you're heading to the match, keep in mind that ScottsMiracle-Gro Field is right here in the city, so it's an easy trip for anyone living in the area. Between the Fan Appreciation theme and the matchup, it's a solid reason to spend a Saturday afternoon at the stadium.
