Hands-on reptile show for children with live snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles and tortoises led by Paul of Reptile Adventures.
Reptile Adventures is bringing an interactive reptile show to TownHall on Sunday, October 25, from 11 AM to 12 PM. It's a one-hour session geared toward kids, and it's hosted by Paul from Reptile Adventures, who'll be there with about a dozen live animals.
The lineup covers a good range of the cold-blooded world: snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles, and tortoises. It's a hands-on, up-close experience, so the kids get to interact with the animals rather than just watching from a distance. Along the way, Paul talks about what these creatures are and the role they play in the ecosystem, so it's as much about learning as it is about seeing them.
Since it's an interactive show, the animals are handled under supervision, and the whole thing is presented by TownHall. They suggest families join in for brunch before or after, which works well given the late-morning slot—you can make a full Sunday morning of it.
