The nation's premier equine exposition featuring educational programs, trade shows, entertainment and horse competitions.
Equine Affaire returns to the Ohio Expo Center from April 8 to 11, 2027. It's one of the largest horse trade shows in North America, and this is the spring chapter of the event, which runs in Columbus before heading to Massachusetts in November.
Inside, the trade show is the main draw, with more than 250 exhibitors each year. The Breed Pavilion showcases dozens of horse breeds, and you'll find horse and farm exhibits alongside 'For Sale' stalls. An educational program runs throughout the four days, and there's equine entertainment and competition to go with it.
Two things stand out as the show's signatures. The Versatile Horse & Rider Competition is billed as the ultimate test of horsemanship. Then there's the Fantasia, a musical celebration of the horse that runs Thursday through Saturday evenings; it requires a separate ticket, so you'll want to plan for that if you're going.
