Hookahween concert with Ekoostik Hookah and Brahctopus, presented by WCBE, all ages.
Ekoostik Hookah are playing Newport Music Hall on Saturday, October 31, for a show they've called Hookahween. It's an all-ages night, presented by WCBE, and it falls right on Halloween, so it's a good excuse to get out of the house that evening. They're the main draw, and they've got Brahctopus opening for them.
If you're not familiar with the name, Ekoostik Hookah is a Columbus-based jam band. They've built their thing around improvising on stage, so the setlist usually changes from night to night and the songs stretch out. It's the kind of show where you don't know exactly where a track is going to end up, and that's part of the draw. Brahctopus is on the bill as well, so there's a second act to warm things up before Ekoostik Hookah takes over.
Since it's an all-ages show, you can bring whoever you want—friends, younger siblings, or whoever else is in your circle. WCBE is presenting, and the whole thing is happening at Newport Music Hall, one of the city's main rooms for this kind of bill. The date is Saturday, October 31, so it's a Halloween night out in Columbus.

Doors open at 7 PM, and the music follows. If you're planning to go, keep in mind it's a Saturday night on a holiday, so getting there a bit early is usually the move. Ekoostik Hookah and Brahctopus are the two acts on the bill, all ages, at Newport Music Hall on October 31.
