The Haunt Columbus is open at 3770 Refugee Rd in Columbus, running through October 31. It's staged at the old Eastland Lanes Bowling Alley, a spot that brings its own history to the experience.
It's one of several haunts around the city this season, and the local scene covers a lot of ground. You've got immersive indoor productions like this one, outdoor trails that wind through actual woods, and a haunted hellscape set inside a real prison over at The Ohio State Reformatory. Some of these haunts also give back to the community, with proceeds from a few of them benefiting local causes like the Pataskala Lions Club.
