Haraca Kiko

Haraca Kiko is playing Aurora Nightlife on Saturday, October 17, bringing his dembow hits to Columbus. He's the main draw of the night, and the set is built around the songs that made him a name in the genre. If you've followed his work, you know the sound: the heavy, driving dembow beat that keeps the energy high from the first track to the last.

He won't be on his own, though. DJ Carlos El Menor is on live mixing duty, keeping the music moving between the songs and holding down the room. It's a two-man operation on stage, with Kiko on the mic and El Menor handling the decks, so the energy stays consistent throughout the set rather than dipping between tracks.

It's a late one, so keep that in mind when you're planning your night. Doors open at 10 PM, but the show doesn't start until 1 AM, which puts the main set well into the early hours of Sunday morning. If you're coming from across town, you'll have plenty of time to get settled before things actually kick off. Tickets are $25, and you can find them at Aurora Nightlife, 1025 East 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201.
