Halloween party with a 1970s theme, live music by the Ken Schwartz Duo, a costume contest and Halloween mulled wine to celebrate 50 years of Wyandotte Winery.
Wyandotte Winery is throwing a Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, from 11 AM to 7 PM, and the theme is Party Like It's 1977. It's a double celebration: the winery is marking 50 years in business, and the owners are celebrating their third anniversary. The whole day leans into a groovy 1970s vibe, so you're encouraged to show up in bell-bottoms, disco duds, or whatever Halloween costume you've got ready.
The music kicks in toward the end of the day, with the Ken Schwartz Duo playing live from 5 to 7 PM. If you're coming for the costume contest, you'll want to be there a bit earlier—that runs from 5 to 6 PM, with prizes for Best 70s Costume and Best Other Costume. Between the two, the music and the contest overlap for an hour, so you can hang out and listen while the winners are picked.
There are a few other things to keep in mind if you're planning your visit. From 4 to 5 PM, small plates are half-price, and a grown-up prize cauldron runs from 4 until the party wraps at 7 PM. To drink, they're pouring a Halloween-inspired mulled wine called Witch's Brew. If you're already a regular, you might know their Pack-the-Patio Friday series—live music from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Fridays with half-price happy-hour plates on the patio or lawn—but this is a separate, all-day Saturday event.
