Hall of Fame Boxing Showcase

The Hall of Fame Boxing Showcase comes to the Douglas Community Center on Saturday, November 21, from 5 PM to 9 PM. It's a night put on by Columbus Recreation and Parks to bring in the newest inductees into the Columbus Recreation and Parks Boxing Hall of Fame and name the city's Boxer of the Year.

Three names are getting inducted this time around: David Carter, Greg Dryer, and Darryl Keith. Each will take their place in the Hall of Fame during the showcase. Along with the inductions, the event names the Boxer of the Year, and this year's honor goes to Emilio Bauqalup. If you've followed the local boxing scene, these are the names you'll be seeing recognized.

The showcase is held at the Douglas Community Center, which is a Columbus Recreation and Parks facility. It's more than just a venue for one night—the center houses a Boxing Center among its amenities and runs free Mobile Produce Markets throughout the year. If you're planning to use the center's programs or facilities, keep in mind that a Recreation and Parks Leisure Card is required.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth, with VIP tables available for $160. The showcase runs from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Douglas Community Center, 1250 Windsor Ave., Columbus, OH 43211.
