Outdoor artisan market with food trucks, live music and local makers in German Village, part of the Apple Fest festival.
The German Village Makers Market returns to German Village on Sunday, October 18, as part of Apple Fest, which is the fourth edition of the festival. It's a recurring street fair in Columbus, and this particular date falls right in the middle of October, when the neighborhood is usually at its best.
The scale is what stands out here: more than 100 vendors, makers, bakers, and food trucks gather on the street. You'll find local makers showing their work alongside bakers with fresh goods and food trucks for when you need a real meal. It's the kind of market where you can spend a few hours just drifting from one stall to the next, seeing what people in the city have been making.
This edition is also a partnership with Collin Williams, who's bringing in artist activations, photo opportunities, games, prizes, and a raffle. Those additions give you something to do between the shopping—a reason to hang around and linger rather than just hitting the booths and heading home. It turns the market into more of a full-day event, especially if you're bringing friends or family.
