George DeLancey Trio

The George DeLancey Trio plays Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge on Tuesday, October 20, with two separate sets throughout the evening. The trio is led by George DeLancey, a Cambridge, Ohio native who trained in several prestigious programs, and the night is built around his work on the piano. It's a standard trio format, so you'll have the piano front and center with a rhythm section behind it.

If you're not already familiar with the venue, Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge is in the Short North, at 17 Buttles Avenue. It's a 21-and-up room that hosts live jazz every night across multiple sets, booking local and touring groups that range from trios and quartets to solo performers. Because they run several sets a night, you have a choice of when to drop in rather than just one start time.

The first show runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM. The second show is from 8:15 PM to 9:45 PM, with doors opening at 7:45 PM. Since they're separate sets, you can catch the early one and be home by mid-evening, or come in later if that fits your night better. Tickets are $10.
