Walkable vintage-shopping crawl through the Franklinton neighbourhood, with local boutiques on 400 West Rich and at Chromedge Studios.
The Franklinton Vintage Crawl returns to the Franklinton neighborhood on Saturday, October 31, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a walkable shopping experience through what's billed as Columbus's number one vintage-shopping district, organized by the Midwest Vintage Collective.
More than half a dozen local boutiques open their doors along 400 West Rich and at Chromedge Studios. The styles and pieces on the racks run from the 1970s through to Y2K, so you'll find everything from seventies flares and eighties power shoulders to the baggy silhouettes and kitsch of the early aughts. Because it's a crawl, you can drift from one shop to the next on foot rather than driving between them.
Franklinton is a DORA neighborhood, which means you can carry your drinks as you walk. The organizers encourage stopping at local bars along the way, and Land-Grant Brewing, Sweeney's Tavern and Good Land are all nearby if you want to break up the shopping with a drink. It's a good way to stretch the afternoon outβgrab a beer, browse a few shops, and keep moving.
