A community bash featuring a trunk or treat, car show, DJ and live performances at the Far East Community Center.
Far East Community Center is hosting a Trunk or Treat and Car Show on Saturday, October 17, from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. It's part of their community bash, and the two main draws run side by side: the car show, where you can walk the line of entries, and the trunk or treat, where kids go from car to car to collect candy. The center is run by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, and this is one of their fall community events.
Beyond the cars and the candy, they're bringing in a DJ and live performances to keep things moving throughout the afternoon. It's a family-friendly setup, so it's the kind of thing you can bring the kids to without worrying about a late night. Between the music and the car show, there's enough going on to hang out for the full two and a half hours, or just pop in for a bit and head home.
