Don McMillan's 10th Annual Holiday Office Party

Don McMillan is headlining the ISACA Central Ohio Chapter's 10th Annual Holiday Office Party on Tuesday, December 1, at The Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant in Easton Town Center. It's a private event, so you'll want to check the details before you plan your night.

McMillan is a former engineer, and that background is exactly where the comedy comes from. He calls his act Technically Funny, and it's aimed squarely at people who work in tech. If you spend your days around code, servers, or spreadsheets, you'll recognize the territory he's working in. It's the kind of set that lands better when you've actually lived the jokes.

The evening starts well before the comedy kicks in. The party takes over a private showroom at The Funny Bone, with cocktails starting at 5 PM. From there, it moves into a buffet dinner, so you'll have plenty of time to eat and catch up with people before the show takes over the rest of the night. The full bar is open throughout, and since it's a private room, you're not fighting the rest of the club for a drink.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind. The party is open to ISACA Central Ohio Chapter members, and each member can bring one guest. Space is limited to 50 attendees, so it's a small room rather than a big crowd. It's also a 21+ event, so you'll need to be over 21 to get in. Tickets are $25 for members and $25 per plus-one. The whole thing runs from 5 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, December 1, at The Funny Bone, 145 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219.
