Columbus premiere screening of Lana Daher's documentary 'Do You Love Me', a journey through Lebanon's archival footage, within the Unorthodocs 2026 festival.
Lana Daher brings her documentary Do You Love Me to the Wexner Center on Sunday, October 25, for its Columbus premiere. It's a personal journey through Lebanon's audiovisual memory, built entirely from archival footage. The film spans 70 years of film, television, home movies and newsreels, and it's a love letter to Beirut that looks at a Lebanese collective psyche marked by both joy and intimacy and by destruction and loss.
Through the eyes of citizens, filmmakers and artists, Daher reconstructs a fragmented history in a country without a national archive. The film celebrates creative expression as resistance, renewal and a way of preserving memory. It runs 75 minutes, in Arabic and French with English subtitles.
The screening is part of Unorthodocs, the Wexner Center's annual festival of creative nonfiction filmmaking, now in its 10th year. It also fits into the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial: The Long View and Columbus's ARTober, so it's one of several things happening across the city that month.
