Free monthly grief education session titled 'Growing through Grief' at the nonprofit bereavement support center Cornerstone of Hope.
Cornerstone of Hope is hosting another session of its grief education series, Growing through Grief, on Wednesday, November 18, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's part of a monthly program they run, so if you can't make this one, there's usually another one coming up soon.
To get some context on who's behind it: Cornerstone of Hope is a nonprofit bereavement support center that's been serving Ohio since 2003. They work with children and families, as well as schools, businesses, and professionals who spend their days with people who've lost someone. Their support comes in a few different forms—individual counseling, support groups, seminars, holiday events, and even yoga. It's a broad reach, and the monthly education series is one of the ways they keep those resources open to the community.
One thing that's worth knowing about how they operate is their Compassionate Care Program. They've set it up so that no one is turned away for an inability to pay, and they state that all of their grief support services are offered at an affordable cost or free of charge. It's a nonprofit that's built around making sure these services stay accessible, regardless of your situation.
