Candlelight concert in which the Listeso String Quartet plays Michael Jackson's greatest hits under candlelight at the Columbus Museum of Art.
Candlelight: Tribute to Michael Jackson comes to the Columbus Museum of Art on Sunday, December 13, 2026. It's part of the Candlelight concert series from Fever Originals, which takes live music into unusual spaces—this time, the museum's galleries—and lights the room with candles instead of stage lighting. The Listeso String Quartet handles the music, reimagining Michael Jackson's hits as string arrangements.
The program runs through the songs that made him a global icon, from Billie Jean and Thriller to Man in the Mirror and Heal the World. It's a tribute, not an official production, so it's not associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Michael Jackson, his estate, or his official representatives. The music is the focus here, stripped of the dance moves and the pop production and played by a string quartet in a room full of candlelight.
On the practical side, the museum has a capacity of 350, and seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone. Tickets are sold through the Fever app and website, and none are sold at the door, so you'll need to book in advance. The show is recommended for ages 8 and up, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult.
