Jazz quartet led by pianist Ben Maloney plays the Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge in the Short North neighbourhood.
Ben Maloney brings his Sonic Visions Quartet to the Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge on Tuesday, October 27. It's a double-bill night: the first set is at 6 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM, and the second runs from 8:15 to 9:45 PM, with doors at 7:45 PM. You can catch either one or stay for both.
Maloney is the pianist leading the group, and he's a composer and arranger originally from Toledo who now calls Columbus home. He brings a background in jazz performance and composition to the stage, drawing on years of study and collaboration with acclaimed jazz and classical musicians. The quartet is rounded out by Jake Smith on saxophone, Nathan Smith on bass, and Andrew Richard on drums.
The venue is the Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, a cocktail and jazz room in the Short North neighborhood.
