Free author talk with novelist Meg Anderson, who discusses her book 'The Memory of Borrowed Books', at the Columbus Metropolitan Library's Hilltop Branch.
Meg Anderson is coming to the Hilltop Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library on Saturday, November 14, for a talk from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It's part of the library's Authors at the Library series, which has grown from about six writers mostly at the Main Library to more than 30 authors visiting branches across the system, with more being added through 2027. CEO Lauren Hagan says customers value the chance to connect with authors, and the library is committed to bringing bestselling and beloved writers into neighborhoods throughout the system.
Anderson is an American novelist who writes about life's hardest chapters. She lives with multiple sclerosis, which she's called part of her life but never the whole story. She lives in Indiana with her husband, three children, and four cats. Her new book, The Memory of Borrowed Books, is described as an ode to community, following a librarian in the New England coastal town of Foxhollow Bay who discovers a mysterious room filled with her patrons' unfinished memories.
