Co-headlining North American tour show by Amorphis and Insomnium, with Hinayana as the supporting act, at The King of Clubs.
Amorphis and Insomnium are co-headlining The King of Clubs on Friday, November 20, as part of their North American tour. It's a double bill of Finnish metal, with both bands sharing top billing rather than one opening for the other. Hinayana opens the night.
Amorphis has been around since the early 90s, starting in the death metal scene before moving toward the melodic, folk-influenced sound they're known for now. Insomnium came along later, in the late 90s, and has spent its career in a similar melodic vein. Both are staples of the Finnish scene, and this is one of the few times they're touring together across North America, so it's a rare chance to catch them on the same stage in Columbus.
With two headliners, the night is built around two full sets. Hinayana handles the opening slot, and then Amorphis and Insomnium each take their turn. Since they're co-headliners, neither is playing a supporting role; they're both getting their own space in the lineup. If you've followed either band, this is a good way to see them both in one go.
