Abbie Gamboa plays Newport Music Hall on Tuesday, November 3, with Chelsea Plank opening. Gamboa is a worship leader and songwriter from Dallas, Texas, and this is her first time bringing her set to Columbus.
If you haven't come across her yet, the numbers give you a sense of where she's been. Her debut album, pure, has passed 80 million global streams, and she's over 300 million across her whole catalog. One of her best-known songs, "Who Else," has made it into the CCLI Top 10, which is a good indicator of how often it's being sung in churches. She's also worked with UPPERROOM, Gateway Worship, Bethel Music, and Aodhán King on "Throwing Paint."
