Open house celebrating Barcelona Restaurant & Bar's 30th anniversary with music, food, drinks, a raffle and a $500 gift basket, with all ticket money donated to charity.
Barcelona Restaurant & Bar is celebrating its 30th anniversary with an open house on Monday, November 2, from 6 PM to 8 PM at 263 E. Whittier St. It's one part of a larger anniversary celebration, framed as a thank-you to the guests who've been part of the restaurant's history and family for three decades.
The night is built around two Columbus charities, and every dollar from the ticket price goes to them. Representatives from both will be there. One is The Garden District Corporation, which builds green spaces and neighborhood farms across the city and runs a Farm to School program with Columbus City Schools. The other is The Line, Service!'s flagship hospitality center, which combines a restaurant with a workforce development program for hospitality professionals.

As for the evening itself, there'll be music, food, drinks, raffle prizes and an anniversary cake. The raffle includes a $500 gift basket. Tickets are $10 each, cash only, and there are no refunds. Under-18s can attend only with a parent or legal guardian.
