Annual fall show of fall-themed glass art and blown glass pumpkins by local Columbus artists, with classes to blow your own pumpkins.
The Pumpkin Patch is back at the Columbus Glass Art Center through October 23, the center's annual fall show that fills the gallery and studio with fall-themed glass art and blown glass pumpkins. The pumpkins are all made by local Columbus artists, so it's a good look at what people in the city are working on right now. It's part of the center's broader glass and visual arts programming, and it's also included in ARTober, the city's monthlong celebration of the arts.
If you've never been, the center is at 892 Scott St. in Columbus. The show runs from October 3 through October 23, so you've got a few weeks to swing by. For the remaining dates—Tuesday, Oct 20, Wednesday, Oct 21, Thursday, Oct 22, and Friday, Oct 23—the gallery is open from 11 AM to 7 PM. Admission is free, so you can just walk in and take a look around without worrying about a ticket.

There's more to it than just looking, too. While the show is running, you can sign up for classes to learn how to blow your own glass pumpkins. If you've always wondered how those pieces come together, this is a chance to actually try it yourself rather than just watching from the gallery floor. Between the exhibition and the classes, it's a pretty complete way to spend a fall afternoon in the city. The show wraps up on Friday, Oct 23, so if you're planning to go, keep that date in mind.
