A free, family-friendly shadow puppet show inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, part of the Puppet Tuesday series at VisArt Video.
The Actor's Shadow Puppet Company brings A Midnight Dreary to VisArt Video on Tuesday, October 27, as part of the venue's Puppet Tuesdays series. It's a free show, and the whole thing is built around the work of Edgar Allan Poe.
Puppet Tuesdays are free, family-friendly afternoons at VisArt Video that pair a puppet show with a workshop, so it's more than just sitting and watching. This October, the entire series draws from the mind of Edgar Allan Poe, and A Midnight Dreary is the specific production on the 27th. The sessions are sponsored by Culture Blocks, a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County, and Cafe VisArt is open for snacks and drinks while you're there.
