A Magical Cirque Christmas

A Magical Cirque Christmas comes to the Belk Theater on Sunday, November 22, at 3 PM. It's a holiday variety show that's been touring for more than five seasons, and this stop is part of a national tour hitting over 30 U.S. cities.

The show mixes gravity-defying acrobatics, aerial artistry, displays of strength and agility, comedy and magic, all set to a soundtrack of modern holiday hits. It's built for all ages, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out with friends. The lineup brings together a wide range of acts: magician and mentalist Mark Clearview, Rola Bola performer Jonathan Rinny, hair suspension artist and Guinness World Record holder Leila Noone, juggler Christopher Stoinev, aerialist Melissa James, hand-to-hand acrobats Jack and Anna, and hand-balance/contortionist Iris Ileven.

The venue is the Belk Theater at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, which opened in 1992 and was designed by Cesar Pelli. Inside the audience chamber, about 2,400 points of light make up a fiber-optic network.

Tickets start at $40.13, and if you're bringing a group of 10 or more, you get 10% off the base ticket price plus one complimentary ticket. The show is on Sunday, November 22, at 3 PM.
