Manchester band Westside Cowboy play Tramshed in Cardiff for Sŵn Festival 2026, the festival's 19th edition of new music.
Westside Cowboy play Tramshed on Saturday 17 October, part of the 2026 Sŵn Festival. They're from Manchester, and this is their only night on the bill.
Sŵn is Cardiff's long-running new music festival, and 2026 marks its 19th edition. It runs across the city centre from Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 October, so Westside Cowboy are one of the closing acts of the weekend. The festival has been going since 2007 and focuses on new music, emerging artists and homegrown acts — DIY described it as a bastion of 'fearless programming'. This year is its third running as part of the Cardiff Music City Festival, alongside Llais and the Welsh Music Prize. Sŵn's head of music, Adam Williams, called the 2026 line-up 'filled with incredible new music', and Westside Cowboy fit that bill: a Manchester band playing in Cardiff as part of a festival built around new music. If you've been following Sŵn since the early years, this is the 19th time around.

The gig is at Tramshed on Clare Road, and it starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are £12.45 — that's £10 for the ticket, a £1.25 booking fee and a £1.20 venue levy. It's the final night of the festival, so it's a good one to end on if you've spent the last few days working your way through the rest of the Sŵn line-up.
