Live music gig featuring Dave Hill and the band Slade at The Tramshed.
Dave Hill's Slade play The Tramshed on Sunday 13 December, with the show starting at 7:00pm. It's a Cardiff date on the current touring run of the Slade name, with Dave Hill — the guitarist and one of the original members — leading the line-up. He's joined on stage by Russell Keefe on vocals and keyboards, John Berry on vocals, bass and violin, and Alex Bines on drums.
Slade's track record is a good place to start if you're wondering what they'll be playing. They've had no fewer than 23 Top-20 singles, six of which reached number one, and six albums that hit the charts. That's a fair bit of ground to cover in one set, and it's the kind of run that made them a firm favourite with pop fans across the world. The band describes what they bring to the stage as a blend of pop-rock'n'roll, outrageous flamboyance and pure fun — and with Dave Hill still in the mix, the flamboyance part is a given.

It's a Sunday night gig, so it's one of those that sits comfortably as a standalone evening rather than a late-night one. The Tramshed is on Pendyris Street in the city centre, and tickets run from £1.00 to £36.95. The show starts at 7:00pm, so you'll be out in time for a decent night's sleep before Monday.
